Payments Methods & Policies
We accept payments in the form of Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. We do accept cash but only for pre-arranged in-person and local transactions and at the company’s discretion.
We do not accept Money Orders or any other forms of payment other than listed above.
You can use PayPal directly or can sign up for a PayPal debit card through their website. The PayPal debit card uses the funds from your PayPal account and can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. It is another way to pay if you do not feel comfortable using your actual credit or debit cards.
Any mailed orders with checks or money orders will be not be fulfilled or returned.
We do not ship orders COD.
We do not offer credit accounts of any kind.
If your credit card is declined more than once you may be charged a Manual Order Processing Fee (up to $10.00) which will be charged to your credit card. You understand, agree to this fee and authorize its charge by placing an order on our site. WARNING: If your credit card is Declined more than three times your IP address will be banned from this site for fraud protection purposes.
We are not responsible for delays in order processing due to declined credit cards.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.
Your acceptance of this sales contract prohibits you from taking any action that negatively impacts LOR Farms, Inc. or any derivative name thereof.
North Carolina residents will be charged Sales Tax in the amount of 7.5%. If you wish to be exempt from North Carolina taxes, you must complete a Certificate of Exemption from the NCDOR and mail it to us. We will keep it on file.
Shipping and Handling Policy
We do ship by U.S. Postal Service. Shipping through the mail is only for items that can be done as such. Microgreens, sprouts, and other produce subject to spoilage will NOT be shipped and MUST be delivered or picked up directly in person .We can ship via UPS and FedEx, but this requires advance notice and arrangements and increased shipping fees. We are closed on weekends and holidays and do not ship during these times. Local customers may save shipping costs by picking up orders in person but by previously made arrangements only.
Orders placed after hours Friday-Sunday may be picked up on Tuesday. Orders are downloaded several times a day. We try to ship orders the same day they are received, but sometimes it isn't possible due to order volume - so please allow at least two business days to process your order.
Minimum shipping rates are charged at the time your order is placed and will reflect in your shopping cart during checkout. We highly recommend maximizing shipping costs by consolidating as many items as possible into one order.
Please remember:
Once you place an order, it cannot be changed and we will not combine your orders & invoices for you. When an order is received it is typically planted that same day, and the growing begins. Once the seeds are sewn this cannot be undone. This is just one way LOR Farms Inc. strives to keep most order processing and turnaround time at a quick and respectful time while continuing to offer competitive prices. LOR Farms Inc. reserves the right to make the best judgments on shipping boxes (sizes and numbers) as well as packaging materials - we make every effort we can to recycle, reduce, and be environmentally conscious. If we are able to consolidate your box(es) internally we will do so but cannot accommodate special requests.
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be changed. Any additions to your order will be treated as a new order and will be fulfilled and shipped separately.
We do not ship orders on weekends or holidays. Do not count these days towards your total ship time. Point of departure is North Carolina. If you live on the West Coast, your ship time is at least 4-7 business days in transit which does not include processing time in our warehouse. If you need your shipment by a certain date, please allow sufficient time for your order to reach you. Overnight, 2 Day and 3 Day deliveries are available should you need expedited service.
Again, We do ship by U.S. Postal Service ( only products that are capable of being shipped) exclusively for both domestic and International orders. Please do We can ship via UPS and FedEx, but this requires advance notice, acceptance by us, and special arrangements and increased shipping fees. We do not ship UPS/FedEx Collect, UPS/FedEx Third Party, or to UPS/FedEx Account #'s other than our own. Please understand all ordering and shipping procedures before you place your order. You will receive an email from the carrier with your shipment tracking number once your package leaves us. This email will give you an estimated delivery date.
International Shipping and special note for Canada Customers
We utilize UPS Worldwide Express and FedEx for all International orders except Canada. Orders to Canada are shipped UPS Standard. All parcels to Canada will contain a NAFTA Declaration. International customers ordering via UPS are responsible for all Customs/Duty tax and brokerage fees for order. FedEx International Priority and FedEx International Economy shipping costs include all brokerage fees. Customer is responsible for all Custom/Duty tax fees.
NOTE: ADDITIONAL UPS/FedEx FEES
When you place an order, please be very careful to list your complete shipping address and take time to verify that it is correct. This can save you money and get your order to you more quickly. If you are having a package shipped to your place of business/work, please be sure to list the company name in the Delivery address info so that we may ship TO you in care of your company/business.
We can only ship to the address we are given. If we ship to the address you list and the package is returned to us, you are responsible for any additional shipping charges plus the cost to reship to you again. If you list an incorrect address and UPS/FedEx does an address correction, they charge an address correction fee. The minimum fee charged for an address change is $19.00, but can be higher depending on the change of the address. You are responsible for this fee if it is a result of an error you made when entering your address/shipping information OR if you contact UPS/FedEx and ask that the package be delivered elsewhere.
If you don't list your address with the appropriate apartment number, suite number, mobile home lot #, floor number, etc., UPS/FedEx will charge the aforementioned address correction fee.
For all of the above reasons, please take a moment to double check your address and be sure to list whether your address is a STREET, AVENUE, LANE, CIRCLE, COURT, BLVD, etc. It can make a difference!
Any and all fees incurred as a result of your order and its shipping must be paid before future orders can be filled. When an order is paid for by credit card, additional fees incurred will be charged to this same credit card. If you place an order and we have a pending charge on file for you, it will be added to the new order before payment is processed.
We do our absolute best to package tightly and securely. However, if you have breakage in your order please contact the shipping carrier immediately. You MUST save your original packaging materials in order to file a claim. Proof of breakage must be made to the carrier, so it is imperative all original packaging materials are saved. We cannot replace damages or breakage due to shipper at our expense. All items leave us in excellent condition and responsibility for the package ends when it leaves our hands. Any refused shipments will be billed shipping charges and a 25% restocking fee will be incurred.
Privacy Policy
We do not sell our customer list to anyone. You can order with the assurance that you will not receive junk mailings or phone calls from us or other sources! If we have a customer who fails to make payment for an order, a customer who reverses payment on an order already received, or a customer we feel is making an attempt to defraud us, we do share this information with a group of other suppliers who sell fresh produce and bee supplies via online sites. This is for their protection and is intended to help other suppliers take precautionary measures when shipping to someone who has a history of negative behavior.
Return Policy
Once an order has left our hands, we can no longer vouch for the contents. Therefore, to protect the integrity of our products, we do not accept returns.
North Carolina Residents

Declined Credit Cards
A manual order processing fee of up to $6.00 will be added to your invoice.
Catalog
Due to the ever changing nature of our product line, we do not maintain a printed Catalog. All in stock items are listed online.

We prefer to have orders be received through our website forms, shop, ore email, but we also now accept orders over the phone. Simply call us at (984)837-1531 and place your order there.

All of our products are offered in good faith but without guarantee. Due to the variety and nature of our products, products are sold without warranty of any kind. Purchasers will, by their own tests and evaluations, determine suitability of such products for their specific use. Purchasers should practice common sense and safety practices and procedures with all grown produce, washing it before use and storing it properly. We assume no liability for damage and/or injury resulting from the use of products supplied by this company. In no event will we be liable for direct, indirect or consequential damages resulting from loss of use or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use/suitability of products. While we test all products, we cannot make any guarantee that these products will agree with everyone. Should you not have the same opinion of one of our products, simply cease use and discard the remaining product.
