About our Reforestation Research

Here at LOR Farms, we have partnered with our friends at Draxlor Industries Inc. here in Durham, NC to develop a seed dispersal system using drones to help the reforestation efforts.  Draxlor Industries has designed and build various prototypes of drones and delivery systems which facilitate the dispersal of seeds for reforestation in areas that are too dangerous or difficult for people to go. In addition, the drones allow for a much larger area of coverage in much faster times, thereby greatly increasing the area that can be seeded in each project!

The goal is to help fight global warming by helping with carbon sequestering, while cleaning the air and providing more habitats and ecosystems for the wildlife. We are striving to help undo the damage man has caused to the Earth and are blending science with mother nature to accomplish this quicker! We are currently developing a new methodology and delivery system for various areas and dispersal and will update here as we progress.
